Reinaldo Padilla, lovingly known as "Rey," age 66 of Ansonia, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2024, at Griffin Hospital. Born on February 19, 1958, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Rey was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend who brought warmth and laughter to everyone around him.

Rey had a zest for life and was known for his infectious happiness. He found joy in the rhythm of Latin music and spent countless evenings dancing, sharing his love for music with those around him. His sense of humor and easygoing nature made him a cherished companion to many people around him. A devoted dog lover, he adored his dog, Coco, who was his loyal companion.

He worked as a dedicated laborer in a factory, where he was known for his strong work ethic and good-natured spirit.

Rey was predeceased by his parents, Olga I. Rodriguez and Juan Padilla. He is survived by his loving spouse, Minerva Solano; his siblings, Juan A. Padilla, Gloria E. Padilla, and Hector L. Gonzalez; his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held at Connecticut Funeral Chapels on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
