Levi George Angstadt, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 14, 2024, in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with cancer and CHF. He was born on October 25, 1945, in Reading, Pennsylvania, and lived a life marked by wisdom, generosity, and an exceptional ability to fix anything he put his hands on.
Levi was a proud graduate of Oley Valley High School, where he cultivated a love for learning and a knack for problem-solving that would serve him well throughout his life. His innate talent for mechanics led him to a fulfilling career where he spent years as a respected mechanic for Spence Ford of Boyertown, and more recently Haines & Kibblehouse, Skippack PA.
A man of great wisdom, Levi had a way of imparting knowledge and life lessons in the simplest of conversations. His advice was often sought, and his words carried the weight of experience and the warmth of his generous spirit. Levi's wisdom extended beyond words; he demonstrated it through his actions, his dedication to his family, and his commitment to his work.
Generosity was Levi's hallmark. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to those in need, whether it was fixing a neighbor's car or supporting a friend through tough times. To Levi, sharing his time and talents with others was not just a duty but a joy. His generosity of spirit was felt by all who knew him and will be a legacy that endures.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris, with whom he shared 32 years of love and cherished memories. His legacy will live on through his daughters, Kris Angstadt and Chrissy Grebe, who will carry forward his teachings and loving nature. Levi's joy was multiplied with the births of his grandchildren, Kyler and Cierra DeAgostino, who brought him immense pride and happiness. In his family, Levi's wise and generous spirit found its truest expression.
Levi's life was a testament to the impact one individual can have on the lives of many. He was the embodiment of the handyman who could always be counted on, the wise man who offered guidance without expectation, and the generous soul who gave without thought of return.
As we say goodbye to Levi George Angstadt, we celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a presence that will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
