SALEM - Mrs. Nancy L. (White) Kozlowski, 90 of Salem, beloved wife of the late Raymond Sr., with whom she shared 63 years of marriage, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Louise (Klosowski) White. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School Class of 1951. Nancy continued her education at Salem Commercial School in 1952.
Nancy embarked on a long and successful career as a medical secretary to Dr. Donald Nickerson at the Salem Hospital Pathology Department and to Dr. James Fitzgerald at the Pap Lab. Later she was a medical transcriptionist at Accuscript of New England, retiring in 2005 at the age of 72.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nancy took great pride in her family and felt great joy being able to celebrate the many milestones throughout the years. She especially loved doting over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Polish Church in Salem. Nancy and Ray enjoyed socializing with their many friends at the Winter Island Gazebo and would meet with them almost every day enjoying the stories and camaraderie. Nancy will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends but forever remembered for her strong work ethic, her generosity to others and her love for family.
Surviving Nancy are her daughter, Kathy Ann Gilgun and her husband Larry of Salem, and her son, Raymond Kozlowski Jr., her granddaughters, Kristin Voci and her husband Jason of Newburyport, Monica Hamilton of Danvers, and Allison Milford and her husband Michael of Hawaii, her great-grandchildren, Isabella Voci of Newburyport and Eziah Kozlowski and Ezante Anderson of Danvers.
In addition to her husband and parents Nancy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Klosowski, with whom she resided until the time of her marriage.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held at O’Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 84 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) SALEM on Wednesday, November 6th at 11 A.M. Burial is private. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 5th from 4 to 7 P.M.
