Rosa M. Buckner, 94, of Nottingham, PA, passed on Wednesday October 30, 2024 at home.


She was the wife of the late Perry Buckner, Sr.


Born in Centralia, IL, she was the daughter of the late Mildred Ross Weathers.


She was a member of Saint Cyprian Roman Catholic Church, Philadelphia and the Saint Cyprian Women’s Club.


Rosa was employed as a nurse at Pennsylvania Hospital and retired in 1995 after 28 years of service.


Rosa enjoyed traveling.


Rosa is survived by three children, Wendy Brown (Michael) of Nottingham, Sister Angela Cresswell of Philadelphia and Perry Buckner, Jr. of Upper Darby (Yemi); eleven grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by two daughters, Rose Maria Cresswell and Sandra Carrington.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10 am Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Saint Cyprian Roman Catholic Church., 525 Cobbs Creek Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA, where friends and family may visit from 9 – 10 am.


Interment will be in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
