Celebrating the Life of Rosa Beatriz De Martinez, age 98 of Camden, who passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024.
Rosa Beatriz De Martinez was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on August 10, 1926 to the late Genaro Rosa and Paz Quintana.
She is the beloved wife of the late Antonio Martinez. Devoted mother of Ramona Martinez (Luis Barreto), Carmen Arce (Alberto), and adopted son Tomas Martinez. Loving grandmother of Norberto, Cristina Mosley (Larry) and Xiomara Moore (Orlando). Great grandmother of Amberli, Jose, Aliyyah, Thaliyyah, Jadén, and Tyresee. Great great grandmother of Kassie and Athena. Dear sister of Rosalmina, Daisy, and the late Benito, Rosa, Maria Mercedes, Neftali, Genaro, Jose Angel, Roberto, and Victor. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
She worked and retired as a seamstress throughout her lifetime. Rosa enjoyed watching Novellas, trips to the casino, and flying to Puerto Rico to spend time with family. Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were her favorite. It meant cooking and family gatherings. She liked to crack jokes, laugh, and having company around her.
She had a warm and caring personality, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her kindness and compassion touched the lives of many and she will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Rosa’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. In our hearts, she lives on, and we will forever honor the remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on all of us.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 9-11 AM at the St. Joseph Pro Cathedral, 2907 Federal Street in Camden, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
