Mary Marie Stratton Boyd has aviated her final mission to the pearly gates to be with her Lord and Savior. Until her eyesight failed, Mary would always spend time reading her Bible every night before bed. A long-time resident of Reidsville, N.C. Lewis, and Mary both loved the ocean where they spent their vacations with their children. When they retired, they would pack up and spend months each year enjoying the water and the ocean breeze. Mary spent her final days enjoying beauty of the Outer Banks of North Carolina with her son. Whether a walk to see the waves crash on the beach or a stroll to her favorite tree along the sound, always a smile on her face. She also loved flowers and to watch them grow.
