Virginia was born May 5, 1931 to Chester and Josephine Jackson in Texas. She passed into the loving arms of Jesus on October 30, 2024 in Bend, OR. 

   Virginia married Lether “Tex” Poppino on May 1, 1947. To this union were born three children, Roger, Kenneth & Amber.

   Virginia was a beautician for many years. She loved serving as a pastors wife, singing gospel music, teaching and loving children especially at church, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family.

   Her family will miss her greatly, but have blessed assurance in knowing she is joyfully sitting with Jesus and reunited with her husband, son and many other family and friends.

   She is survived by son, Roger (Dee) Poppino; daughter, Amber (David) Maxwell; daughter-in-law Lori Poppino; six grandchildren, Capri (Bryan) Williams, Doug Poppino, Travis (Jennifer) Maxwell and Kendra (Bill) Burdon, Mike (Veronica) Hurich and Debbie Hurich; six great-grandchildren; Jonathan, Delaney, Tyler, Steven, Joshua, Johnny and Megan; 9 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.

   Virginia was preceded in death by husband, Lether “Tex”; son, Kenneth; parents, siblings, nieces and nephews.

   Per her request, no services will be held. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 4, 2024, 10:30 am, at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho. Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel, Payette, Idaho is in charge of services.
