Samuel Hubern Lilly Obituary

Samuel Hubern Lilly, 44, of Randleman, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Sam was born July 9, 1980 to Rev. Howard Earl Lilly and Virginia Hughes Lilly in Randolph County.

Sam was a very energetic young man and the youngest of his siblings. He was born with a God given talent for music, playing guitar, and singing. Sam enjoyed eating his momma’s cooking and fishing with his dad and his brothers. He attended Bible Holiness Church in Randleman.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Misty Lilly; three siblings, Carl Howard Lilly of Asheboro, Janet M. Woodlief and husband Johnny of Thomasville, Charles Arthur Lilly of Asheboro; two nieces, a nephew, and numerous extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Faith Community Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. David Cope and Rev. Jonathan Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church from 1:30 to 2:30 PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the mission’s fund of Bible Holiness Church, 373 McCollum Street, Randleman, NC 27317.
