Luwana (Linke) Scribner, 92, of Farmington, New Mexico formerly of Page County, Iowa passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in Farmington, New Mexico. Luwana Louise Linke Scribner, daughter of Reinhold and Adele (Herzberg) Linke was born on August 18, 1932 in rural Page County, Iowa and passed from this life on October 29, 2024, in Farmington, New Mexico. She was baptized on August 28, 1932, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Clarinda, Iowa. The family later became members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown, Iowa, where she was confirmed in 1946. She attended school at St. Paul Lutheran School through the 8th grade. Luwana then graduated from Clarinda Community Schools in 1950. After attending Clarinda Community College, she graduated from Northwest Missouri State College. Luwana lived in Kansas City, Missouri for several years where she was employed by Sears. After moving to Farmington, she was employed at First National Bank until her retirement. In 1965, she was united in marriage to Jack Scribner; he preceded her in death in 2007. Luwana was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Linke.

Those she leaves behind to mourn her passing, are a sister-in-law, Patsy Linke; a niece, Lee Ann Linke Caracciolo (Frank); and nephews, David Linke (Karen) and Jon Linke (Kathy); great nieces and nephews and other relatives and special friend, Kenneth Morris.
