Joyce Eleanor Bond was born February 4, 1934 in Catskill, New York to her parents, Richard Henry Bond and Verna Brush Bond on a cold winter’s day. She lived to be 76 years old and passed away
surrounded by her family at the Mountain Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in Batesville, Arkansas on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
Joyce worked at Townsend for over 20 years and then at the chicken plant in Batesville, Arkansas.
She lived with Pamela Hartwick for well over a decade and they became close as any family could be.
The family is grateful for the love and care that the staff of Mountain Meadows gave Joyce in her last months.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
