Rosemary Wells Waldrop, 65, Adams Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at her home of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Johnson’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. David Harrison officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born December 19, 1958, the daughter of the late Luther Wells and the late Lucy (McKinney) Wells.
Rosemary was a clerk at Christian County Circuit Court Clerk’s office for 13 years. She also previously worked for 30 years at First City Bank, Area Bankshares, and then BB&T. She was a member of Johnson’s Chapel Methodist Church. Rosemary was a Kentucky Colonel and was in the Rotary Club for 33 years, where she received the Paul Harris Fellow award in 2022.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Wells; and her beloved dog, Joker.
Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Terry Waldrop, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Brandy (Bryan) Young, Wood Heights, MO, Brittney Lee, Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Brandon Lee, Hopkinsville, KY; her brother, Anthony Wells, Madisonville, KY; her niece, Brookelynn Wells; her nephew, Landen Wells; and her beloved dogs, Coco and Kona.
