Pauline A. (Nix) Rohr, 95, of Olney, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Aperion Care of Olney.  Pauline was born on September 17, 1923 in Wendelin, IL, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Buerster) Nix.  She later married Wilfred Anthony Rohr in Jacksonville, FL and he preceded her in death on August 16, 1973.  Pauline is survived by her son, Jim Rohr of Honeybrook, PA; Son, Alvin Rohr of Mattoon, IL; Daughter, Linda (Rohr) Frohning of St. Louis, MO; Son, Loren Rohr of San Francisco, CA; Son, Dennis Rohr of Houston, TX; Daughter, Ellen (Rohr) Sizer of Spokane, WA; Son, Bryan Rohr of Asheville, NC; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Kuhl and Josephine Kapper.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Anthony Rohr; Nine siblings, Carl Nix, Leo Nix, John Nix, Gene Nix, Gerald Nix, Maurice Nix, Ethel Nix, Delores Keller, and Marie Kapper; and granddaughter Natalie Frohning.  Memorials can be made to St. Jospeh Catholic Church Foundation or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with a visitation beginning one hour prior.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Olney.
