Dorothy Frances "Dot" Miller, age 98, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on October 23, 2024, in Bel Air, Maryland.


Dorothy is survived by her daughters Sharon Tessier, Donna Miller, and Wendy Miller Anders and her husband William Tawney, son Timothy Miller and his wife Denise, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.


Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Donald F. Miller, parents Noah and Frances Beyer, sons Wayne Miller and Brian Miller, son-in-law Lee Tessier, sister Marie Piasecki, and brother Carl Beyer.


Dorothy was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Noah and Frances Beyer (Novak) on February 16, 1926. She went to school until the 8th grade, then went to work to help support her family. She went on to work at Crown Cork & Seal where she met her future husband Donald. She worked a couple of years, then became a full-time housewife. She enjoyed sewing, painting ceramics, singing, and dancing. Dorothy loved having big family get-togethers especially around the holidays!


She was a wonderful mother who was always there for you, She loved animals and babies and life in general. We will carry her in our hearts forever and always.
