Fernanda Ferreira Nogueira Obituary Fernanda Paula Ferreira Nogueira, age 86, of Reading MA passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease surrounded by her loving family on October 14th, 2024. Born in Santa Cruz, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Maria de Jesus Ferreira and Jlio Ferreira. Fernanda leaves behind her faithful and steadfast husband Jose and a legacy of love through their son Paulo and his wife Jennifer as well as their daughter Ana and her partner Dawn. A devoted family woman, Fernandas greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, especially her granddaughters Emma, Sarah and Lizzy. She loved to paint and made countless paintings to adorn everyone's homes. She also loved to entertain and cook and would often throw grand parties at the house where all were welcome to gather and eat her amazing Portuguese cooking. There was always room for one more at the table no matter who showed up or what time it was. Her boisterous laugh would echo throughout the house and everyone was welcomed anytime. Her warm hugs, crazy infectious laugh and her cooking will be greatly missed. Family and friends will honor Fernanda's life by gathering at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday, October 22nd at 9:00 AM for a memorial mass, followed by a memorial visitation at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel in Peabody from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Fernanda's honor.
