On Sunday, October 27, 2024, Owen Thomas Hinson, loving husband and father of three children went to be with Jesus at age 93.

Tom was born on July 14, 1931, in Waco, Texas to A.S. Hinson and Eva Lorene (Glaze) Hinson. He was a diesel mechanic and worked for Transcon Freight Lines for 20 years. He went on to retire and open his own shop at his house. He also owned and drove 18 wheelers, and he and Pat saw a lot of the beautiful country together. He also worked for Goddard Concrete, and retired from there in 2019.

In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting with family. He loved living in the country and loved his church family. Tom had a beautiful voice and loved singing all the old hymns. More than anything, he loved the Lord and studying his Bible.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, A.S. and Eva Hinson; his sister, Eddie Jean Warren; and his brother, Austin Hinson. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his three children, Faith (Dennis) Germinis, Hope Hooks, and Joel (Kathy) Hinson; his brother, Kelley Hinson and Kathy Pedersen.

A Funeral Service will be held on October 31, 2024 at 10am at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
