Paul David Sigley of Burlington Township passed away Monday October 14, 2024 at Granville Place in Burlington Township at the age of 76. He was born in Philadelphia and spent his childhood years in Delaware County.  He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from California State University at Long Beach in 1970. After college, he earned a certificate is Respiratory Therapy from Bryn Mawr College and worked as a respiratory therapist at Bryn Mawr Hospital for a short while.  In 1981, he joined the Peace Corps and was stationed in the Philippines.  It was there that he met the love of his life, Virginia Eriful.  They were married in the Philippines and returned to the US in 1983 for the birth of their only child, Christopher.  Subsequently, Paul was employed as a disability claims manager for the Social Security Administration, where he worked until his retirement in 2008.  Paul enjoyed listening to both classical and blue grass music. He also enjoyed meditating, spending time outdoors, hiking and singing in his church choir. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Virginia. He is survived by his son Christopher Sigley and sisters Laura VanNewkirk and Sandra Sigley. A private memorial service will be held in early November.
