Raymond Walton Obituary
Mr. Raymond Clifford Walton, 81, of 676 Cherrystone Rd., Chatham, VA departed this life Monday, October 14, 2024 at his residence.
He was born October 16, 1942 in New York. He was the son of the late Maurice and Peggy Walton. He was married to Carolyn Walton, who survives.
He was a member of Geneso United Methodist Church in New York and later a member of Chatham Baptist Church. He was a retired dairy farmer.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, he is survived by three sons, Dean and Kevin Walton both of New York and Brent (Tracy) of Chatham, VA; four grandchildren, Kristen Rardin (Matthew), Mason, Dakota and Bailey (Brooke) Walton; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Cole, Eli, and Grace Rardin; a sister, Diana Carson (Ivan) of New York, several nieces, and nephews.
Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. from Chatham Baptist Church with Dr. Moore, Officiant.
Calling hours will be one hour prior to service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donation be made to Young Life or Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer (rallyfoundation.org, 5775 Glenridge Dr. Building B Suite 370, Atlanta GA 30328).
