After retiring, her purpose shifted to the care of her dogs.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Lee Webb; her second husband, Jethro “Rick” Ezzell; her middle son, Billy Ray Webb; and her sister, Margaret Stamey (Taylor).

She is survived by her brother, Raymond Stamey, and his wife, Rosemary, along with their two children, Stephanie and Elizabeth; her oldest son, Bobby Lee Webb, and his wife, Linda, along with their three children: Cynthia “Cindy” (and her husband, Rodney Kemp), Todd (and his wife, Tonia Webb), and Rebecca “Becky” (and her husband, Bradley McClough); Cathy Webb, the wife of Billy Ray Webb, survives with their son, Alex Webb; her youngest son, Roy Allen Nice-Webb, and his wife, Karen, along with their  three children: Kiva Nice-Webb (and her husband, Quinn Rosenthal), Christin Nice-Webb, and Leticia “Lee” Nice-Webb. Myrtle also is survived by seven grandchildren (listed above) and twelve great-grandchildren.
