Lue David Jackson Jr., (Master Gunnery, Sergeant, Retired, United States Marine Corps) was born on August 3, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan to Lue David Jackson, Sr. and the late Connie Cook Anderson. He graduated in 1987 from Central High School in Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 17 he joined the United States Marine Corps and served Semper Fidelis until his retirement in 2009. Upon retiring he became the Assistant Director of Environmental Services with Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be held October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM, Westside Funeral Home Chapel, Fairfield. His loving survivors are: beloved wife, Debbie Jackson; children, Lue D. Jackson III, Tamara C. Jackson, Devon L. Jackson and Malcolm X. Kornegay; father, Lue D. (Helen) Jackson; sisters, Albberetta Jackson, Connie (Daryl) Gaiter, Gwendolyn (Leon) Cummings, Barbara (Michael) Travis, Deborah (Vondre Gaines) Jackson, Lawanda Williams, Latasha Williams, and Suzette Williams-Clay; other relatives and friends.
