Figlar, Virginia [Ginny] [Jean] Age 79, of Hazelwood, peacefully on Saturday, January 28, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John Figlar Jr., Beloved mother of John G., Gary J. [Marilyn], and Michelle [Greg Quinlan] Figlar; Nana to the Loves of her Life: Ashley [Ben] Veres, Kayla and Ava Figlar, Grady and Tilly Quinlan; Sister of the late Louis Marone and Gilda Smith, Dearest aunt to many, Godmother to Mary Evrard, and sister-in-law to the ALAFFFA family. Ginny was a faithful member of St. Stephen Parish. Neighbors will always remember her potato salad and her making donuts in the window of the local grocery store. She will also be remembered for her gracious smile and reminder to be careful as they left the Elizabeth Pharmacy where she served them as the cashier. Visitation with the family Wednesday, 4 PM to 8 PM and Thursday Noon until 8 PM at the John D. O’Connor and Son Funeral Home, Inc., Patrick Vereb, Supervisor, 5106 Second Avenue, 15207, 412-521-8116 Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen Parish Church at 10 AM. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the John and Virginia Figlar Fund, established to benefit the youth of HazelwoodJanuary 28, 201701/28/2017
