It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Georgette Cyr on October 14, 2024. She died peacefully at St. Joseph’s General Hospital in Elliot Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Hector (1997). Beloved mother to Normand (Sheila) and Jeannot (Michelle). Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Pam, Matt and Jess and by 7 great grandchildren, Sydney, Breonna, Keagan, Owen, Jack, Jamie and Keira. She was married for 43 years and a resident of Elliot Lake for 65 years. She was born in Gaspé, Québec and returned there often to visit family. Her laughter will be missed by all. There will be no service at this time. A Celebration of Life and burial will take place at a later date in Gaspé, Québec. Memorial contributions to St. Joseph’s Foundation of Elliot Lake would be appreciated by the family.
