Dr. Christopher C. Warren, Professor, 88, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville. He was born May 21, 1936, in Syracuse, a son of the late Chauncey and Elizabeth (Cornell) Warren. After earning his PhD, Chris went on to teach at several colleges until his retirement.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Hamilton, where he served as the organist and music director for over 50 years and was very civic minded and giving to the community.
He leaves a brother, Jason (Shirley) Warren, of New Paltz and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on at 2pm on Monday, October 28, 2024 from the First Baptist Church, 27 Broad St., Hamilton, NY 13346.
There will be no calling hours.
Chris will be laid to rest with his parents in Greenwood Cemetery, Stockton, NY.
