Graveside services for Ms. Julia Frances Hicks Criswell, age 63 of Haynesville, LA will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Gordon Cemetery, with Bro. Rodney Gray officiating.  Interment will immediately follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Bailey Funeral Home in Haynesville.

Julia was born on March 20, 1961 in El Dorado, AR, to the late Frances Virginia Cottrell Hicks and Melvin P. Hicks, and passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Heritage Nursing Center in Haynesville, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a grandson, Ashton Cutter Nelson.

Survivors include; five children, Kelly Dodds and husband Tony of Hot Springs, AR, Steven Evans of Haynesville, Melissa Tims of Haynesville, Randall Tims and wife Dana of Minden, and Stacy Tims of Minden; thirteen grandchildren, Zane, Dalton, Allyssa, Lorin, Ashley, Morgan, Bailee, Shalynn, Logan, Cadence, Chloe, Paislee and Juliet; three great grandchildren, Braxton, Evie and Juelz; one sister, Karen Gibson; one brother, Melvin Hicks, both of Haynesville, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be; Randall Tims, Blake Tims, Tony Dodds, Nick Wright, Cadence Tims and Joey Tims;

Honorary Pallbearers will be; Steven Evans and Logan Wright
