“Bodhi" Robert John Gagner-Sarten, aged 5, of Fairbanks, AK, passed away on October 14, 2024. Born on February 27, 2019, in Fairbanks, he was a beacon of joy and kindness in the lives of all who knew him.

Bodhi was a sweet, talkative, and kind-hearted boy, renowned for his beautiful smile that brightened every room. He cherished outdoor activities, especially camping with his father, playing at his favorite playground, and collecting rocks by the water. His love for dinosaurs and cheese pizza knew no bounds. Bodhi's friendly and outgoing nature made him a beloved figure among his peers, always eager to invite others to play. His big heart and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on his family and friends.

He attended Denali Elementary School where his jovial spirit and enthusiasm for learning were evident to all. Bodhi enjoyed being a typical kid, reveling in his time outdoors, whether it was playing with his dinosaurs or exploring nature.

Bodhi's memory will forever be cherished as a symbol of pure love and happiness. His brief but impactful life will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Bodhi is survived by his father, Robert J. Gagner Sr., and Robert's fiance Jenn; his siblings, Ezekiel and Trinity Sarten of Fairbanks, AK; his grandmother, Evelyn Sarten of Ruby, AK; his aunties Kirsten Gagner, Celestina Malave, Sarah Sarten, and Crystal Sarten; his uncles Kevin, Garrett, and Aaron Gagner, and Ishi Sarten; along with 21 cousins from both sides of the family.
