James “Cody” Leffew, age 64, of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born December 11, 1959 in Middletown, OH to James and Grace (Jones) Leffew. He was blue grass through and through, he loved picking on a banjo and mandolin as well as building both. He enjoyed working on classic cars and he loved his family and dogs, Eugene, Peanut and Bo. Cody is survived by his wife of 36 years, Angie Leffew; daughter, Andrea (Brian) Burks; granddaughter, Skylar Jade (Justin Daniels) Gibbs; grandson, Sammy Burks; great-grandson, Jackson Daniels; sisters, Kathleen Mitchell and Luna Ann Sparrow-Leffew; favorite sister-in-law, Paula Abner; niece, Angela Mitchell and great-nephew, Brayden Lyons. He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Sadie Grace Burks and nephew, Preston Mitchell. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
