William David Massey, 51, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 18th, 2024 from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was born on January 6th, 1973 in Warren, Ohio to William G. Massey and Phyllis K. Legg. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1991.
William worked as an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, but was a man of all trades.
Billy loved to be outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, or camping; he was always enjoying the great outdoors. One of his favorite and peaceful spots was West Branch State Park in Portage County.
He will be missed by his wife, Beth Massey; children, Alyssia Massey, Cheyenne Massey, Cody Collins and Kesley Massey; son-in-law, Davin Lyle; mother, Phyllis Legg; brothers, Michael Massey, and Chris Legg; sisters, Kimberly Massey Giepert, and Kelly Legg; sister-in-law, Caroline Massey; nephew, Shawn Legg; niece, Kaylee Giepert; grandchildren, Kyra Alexis Marie Lyle, Amir Andrew David Lyle, and Guinevere Elsa Massey-Christman; cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Massey, his stepfather, William Legg, and his brother, Shawn.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Borowski Memorial Home, 30 Ridge Rd, Newton Falls, Ohio 44444. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Funeral Procession for immediate family to burial site will leave at 1:00 p.m.
In honor of his wishes, William will be buried at Hawley Cemetery is Paris Township.
Bereavement dinner will be held at Lake Milton Assembly of God, 17930 Mahoning Avenue, Lake Milton Ohio 44429 at 1:00 p.m.
