Jeffrey Scott Allen, of Ortonville, passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 66.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Albert Allen, and his mother, Barbara Johnston Allen. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Cindy Steele Allen, who will forever cherish every second they spent together. He is also survived by his special stepdaughter, Celia (Adrian) Collins; grandchildren, Dominic, Preston, and Adelina; his brother, Bud (Masai) Allen; his sweet nieces, Rebecca & Sarah Allen; as well as many other beloved family and friends.

Jeff loved being Up North at his cabin and boating on the Au Sable River. He never missed a chance to win at a game of cribbage. He also had a lot of fun Up North with his beloved cousins: Mike, Liz, Bobby, Diane, Larry, Jessie, Justyn, Corey, Katie, Gina, and Little Jeff.

Jeff was passionate about music; he loved listening to his vinyl records and playing his guitars. He also enjoyed grilling on his deck and entertaining family & friends.

Jeff had a great sense of humor and we will all miss hearing him laugh. He was a kind, genuine man who would do anything for anyone. He will be forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
