Judith Ann Chase, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend to many, passed away on October 14th, 2024 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born on November 7th, 1943 in Fall River Massachusetts to Lucy and John Cambra. Judith was a woman of great warmth and compassion who touched the lives of all those around her.

She is survived by her loving daughter Stephanie Chase and her partner David Way, her supportive sister-in-law Julie Cambra; former husband David Chase; as well as numerous friends whose lives she enriched with love and kindness.

Judith's life was filled with adventure and purpose. She had an insatiable curiosity for the world around her which led her to travel extensively for work. Through these travels she met countless individuals who became lifelong friends. Her love for tropical climates took her to some of the most beautiful places on earth where she found solace in the natural beauty that surrounded her.

A deeply spiritual person, Judith found comfort and strength through attending church every week. Her faith guided her through life's challenges and brought joy into everything she did. She cherished quiet moments spent reading books or attempting new hobbies like sewing - always eager to learn something new.

Self-care was important to Judith - not just physically but emotionally too. She believed in nurturing herself so that she could be there for others when they needed it most. This selflessness extended beyond herself as she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to being the best friend anyone could ask for.

Her greatest role however was that of a mother - a title she wore proudly with unwavering dedication and unconditional love towards Stephanie throughout their years together.

Judith will be remembered fondly by all who knew her as someone who radiated positivity wherever she went – leaving behind memories that will continue to bring comfort long after this tragic loss has been felt.
