Adan Farrid Katami was born on April 13, 1978 in San Francisco, CA to Pilar Castillo and Jehad Katami. He was known to his friends as "AK." Adan's biggest and proudest accomplishments were his children. At 20 years old, he became a father to Adan Farrid Katami, Jr., and at 33, he had his second child Aaliyah Pilar Katami. He loved his children more than anything in the world, and especially loved fatherhood. He would often say, there's nothing better than being a father. Adan dreamed of having more children and an even bigger family someday. He was a family man who always made an effort to bring his loved ones together and keep them close. Adan was loved by many, his reach and friendships immeasurable. He was known for his charm, charisma and larger than life personality. He was a loyal friend, who cherished his friendships. His passion for life was infectious and he was known to light up a room making friends everywhere he went. Adan was an energetic person, who was always on the go. He was a motivated and driven entrepreneur, an inspiration to those around him. Adan enjoyed travelling the world, where he had an ability to instantly make friends. He travelled through Europe, South America and Central America, with Asia being next on this list. He was also known to love cars, motorcycles, and most recently his boat. An avid sports fan and lover of music, you could always find him out and about enjoying life and living in the moment. On July 13th at the age of 38, Adan Farrid Katami was taken from us much too early. He is survived by his children Adan Jr. and Aaliyah; his mother Pilar; his brother Ramon; his sisters Karla and Nadia; and his grandmother Viola. Adan was preceded in death by his father Jehad.
