Kenneth Davis Obituary

Kenneth Martin Davis, known as Martin, passed away October 14th 2024, at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


Choctaw Nation is hosting a dinner for family and friends on Monday October 21, 2024, at 11:30 at the Rectory Hall of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 912 Cherokee Ave Hartshorne, Oklahoma.


Following the dinner a rosary will be recited led by Deacon Bill Anderson at 1:00 pm on Monday October 21, 2024, at the Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home located at 528 South 3rd Street McAlester Oklahoma 74501.


A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 21, 2024 at Saint Joseph’s Cemetery located N4060 Road, McAlester Okla. 74501 with Deacon Bill Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be Kendall Davis, Dakota Davis, Joseph Davis, Tyler Perrymore, Dewayne McCarty, and Wayne Kessler. Honorary Pallbearer will be Richard Sam.


Martin was born on January 16th, 1973, in McAlester, Oklahoma. He was a member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.


Martin enjoyed politics and fishing. But above all his faith and the Catholic Church was a daily part is his life. He found a level of piece in his faith that carried him through all aspects of his life here on earth and now in death.


Martin is survived by his mother, Sharon Ann (Reynard) Jenkins and husband Robert Jenkins of Haileyville Oklahoma; father, Argie Kenneth Davis and wife JoElla Davis of Stigler Oklahoma; brother, Shane Davis and wife Lorie Davis of Stigler Oklahoma; sister Natalie (Thomson) Hixson of Fort Smith Arkansas; brother, Phillip Davis and wife Michelle Davis of Adair Oklahoma; sister, Shelley Ann Davis of Arkansas; brothers, Karl Ward and James Ward both of Phoenix Arizona; sister, Camy Livermore and husband Michael Livermore of Rolland Oklahoma; brother, Brandon Davis of Stigler Oklahoma; sister, Kendra Abel and husband David Abel of Fort Smith Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Martin is preceded in death by his grandmother, Irene Arrott of Enterprise, Oklahoma; grandparents: Ethel and Argie Davis both were from Quinton, Oklahoma; and a brother, Bart Ward from Arizona.
