Frances L. Webb, of Headsville Road, Keyser, WV passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA, at the age of 89.
She was born on December 31, 1934, in Keyser, WV, to her loving parents the late Herman T. Liller and Alma V. (Biser) Liller. She also was preceded in death by her brothers Russell, Kenny, and Bruce Liller, as well as her son-in-law Buster Clark. In her passing, she is now reunited with her loved ones in eternal peace.
Frances was a dedicated and loving homemaker who cherished her role in caring for her family above all else. She found joy in the simple moments spent with her children: Becky Hott, Connie Clark, Jeanetta Kesner and husband Terry and Eddie Webb and wife Carol, all of Burlington, WV and Lynnie Spencer and husband Kent, of Keyser. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Misty Heavener, Nicole Kesner, Megan Webb, Lakoda Spencer and wife Ashley, Derrick Spencer and wife Leslie, Levi Spencer and wife Maddie and Lacey Stambaugh and husband Luke and her great grandchildren, Logan Haynes, Justin Shillingburg, Jayden Miner and Bailee, Ariel, Aurora, Zayne, Bowen, Canaan, Emersyn and Remi Spencer. Her legacy will live on through her sister Mary Michaels of Springfield, WV and a host of other relatives and friends.
Throughout her life, Frances worked hard to provide for her family, being formerly employed at the Keyser Garment Factory and Kinney Shoes in Romney, WV. She was also known in her community as a talented cook, having worked at Camp Minco for sixth-grade camp. But above all else, Frances' greatest accomplishment was the love and dedication she showed to her family, exemplifying the importance of togetherness and unity.
Frances dedicated her life to preserving her family's history and heritage. With a passion for genealogy, she spent countless hours meticulously recording important dates, events, and stories in her journals. Her extensive knowledge of her family's ancestry often made her the go-to person for family members seeking information about their roots.
A special bond was shared between Frances Webb and her great-grandchild, Aurora, whose birth coincided with Frances' final days. Her dying wish was to see Aurora, and thanks to the compassionate staff at Winchester Medical Center, this wish was granted, bringing her immense comfort and joy in her last moments.
In honoring Mrs. Webb's wishes, her body was donated to the WV Human Gift Registry. A private service will be held for the family to celebrate her life and the love she shared with each of them.
As we say goodbye to Frances L. Webb, we remember her for her warmth, her kindness, and the unwavering love she showered upon her family. May her spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her, forever remembered for the legacy of love she leaves behind.
The Smith Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
