Kai R. Mick, age 16 of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. Kai was born in Wilmington, Ohio on March 31, 2008 to Paige (Climer) Mick.

Kai was an amazing human being. He was an extremely empathetic person and tried his best to understand how others felt. Kai was incredibly creative and could turn any small thing into a beautiful masterpiece. He loved to draw, paint, and color and would always showcase his pieces to his family.

Kai is survived by his mom, Paige (Eric Pahanish) Mick; sister, Cass Mick; grandparents, Dianne Pahanish, Richard (Kathy Pinske) Pahanish, and Melissa (Tom) Murray; his beloved fur baby, Butterscotch; and a tremendous community of support. Kai was preceded in death by his aunt, Deborah, and his brother, Xavier.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave., Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home to help aid the family with funeral expenses. Kai’s family would like to extend a special thank you to his dialysis family for their years of unwavering care and support.
