Ryan Matthew Kalinyak, Sr., loving father, significant other, son, brother, cousin, and friend to so many, passed away on Monday, October 14th, 2024. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Ryan is the son of Boni Holdsworth and Robert Kalinyak, Sr. He is survived by his two sons, Robert (Bobby) Kalinyak and Ryan Kalinyak, Jr. as well as his stepdaughter, Jacinta DiBartola Ickes, his girlfriend Ashley Hamilton and her three children, sisters Sheli Bollenbach and Stevi Urban, as well as many other extended family members and friends.

Ryan graduated from Conemaugh Valley High School in 1997.  He played football and loved wearing his favorite number #77, earning his nickname, “Krusher.”

Ryan was hard-working, loving, and would help anyone he could. He served his community on the East Taylor Fire Department. Ryan had so many talents.  He worked as a chef, and was especially known as a cook and bartender at Rocky’s Tavern .  Most recently Ryan was employed at Beauty Lawn.

Ryan loved the outdoors, fishing, football (especially the Steelers), Star Wars, music and singing “Margaritaville” at karaoke.

Ryan had a heart of gold.  He loved his family and friends fiercely and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024.  Family and friends will be welcomed at 2pm at the Scalp Level & Paint Volunteer Fire Company – Station 1 located at 807 Main Street, Windber, Pennsylvania  15963.
