McParlan, Thelma Eileen

Peacefully at Lanark Lodge in Perth, on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Thelma, Loving daughter of the late Thomas and Olive Saunders. Cherished mother of Gerald (Julie) McParlan, Barry (Rosie) McParlan, Linda McParlan (Bob), Mark McParlan, and Jennifer McParlan (Ross). Devoted grandmother to Christina McParlan (Ryan), Nicole Larocque (Sean), Ashley Buchanan-Roy (Mike), Daniel Buchanan (Taralyn), Megan Buchanan, Bradley Fielding , Christopher Fielding (Madeleine), Avery McParlan (Racheal), and Abigail McParlan. Great grandmother of 12. Thelma is predeceased by her sons Kevin McParlan, and Tim McParlan, her 13 brothers and sisters, and her daughter-in-law Debbie McParlan. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10:00am till the time of the memorial service in the Chapel at 11:00am. Interment will take place immediately following the service at St. John's Parish Cemetery, Drummond Concession 1, in Perth. Following the interment, a Celebration of Thelma's Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 244, 26 Beckwith Street East in Perth, Ontario.
