Geraldine was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She married Jimmie Lee Hall in July of 1953.
They moved to North Richland Hills in 1964 and she began her career at GMAC as the Senior Accounting Clerk until her retirement in 1992.
Our precious “Meme” was a devout Christian and a member of Haslet Church of Christ where she attended faithfully until she was too ill to go. She loved her family fiercely and she was the rock in our world and will forever remain so. Always unconditional love and a forgiving spirit. Nothing could light up her face more than her children, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Even when her health kept her down, she always had a high five for Brayden and Deacon and enjoyed watching every step Theodore took.
She loved nothing more than working outside in her yard with her hands in the dirt. She could not sit still. Ever. She was always busy at something, planting, building, painting, redoing. When she could no longer work in her yard she would sit on her front porch and just enjoy being outside.
She leaves behind two children, Vickie Elaine Hall, Greg (Libby) Hall, two grandchildren, Brandon (Stefanie) Hall, Shelby (Gregory) Spurgeon , three great grandchildren, Brayden and Deacon Hall, and Theodore Spurgeon all of Haslet. Two sisters, Wanda Tomlin of Burleson, Julia Ray of Fort Worth, one brother, Raymond Peek of Lubbock. Preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Denise Hall, her parents, Earl and Jewel Peek, two sisters, Earlene Clark and Gladys Dougherty and one brother, Jerry Dale Peek.
