James (Jim) G. Rhyner, on Monday, October 14,2024, went to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Jim married his wife Vicky on June 30, 1978.
Jim used to laugh but loved it when Vicky would say “Nothing could be finer then being married to Jimmy Rhyner”
Vicky had 4 boys who Jim raised as his own. He was strict but the boys always knew he loved them and was always there for them.
His parents were Gorden and Evelyn Rhyner and he also had foster parents Rev. Paul & Marion Bischoff who he loved dearly. They are all in heaven with him now.
Jim is survived by his wife Vicky (Obermeier) of 46 years, his step-son Steven D Tessmer and Steve’s children Jacob and Cody and daughter Ashley and her husband Sean and their son Ayden, his stepson Donald J Tessmer and his wife Beverly and their children Nathan and Tiffany, his son Andrew W. Tessmer and his wife Tonya and their children A.J. Tessmer and daughter Hailey and her husband Mitchell and their son Greyson. Jim has a twin brother John Rhyner who he loved very much and his wife Shirley who was like a sister to him and their son Matthew who he thought the world of.
Jim was preceded in death by his son David J. Tessmer (also a Marine), his granddaughter Taylor, his grandson Donald J Tessmer Jr., His stepson Dan Tessmer, his brothers Dick Rhyner and Bob Drury.
Jim was in the United States Marine Corp from 1967 – 1971. He worked for Greenheck Fan for 33 years.
Jim had many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Our family would like to thank everybody at Marshfield Clinic and hospital and Aspirus for their care of our beloved Jim. Also, Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Jim and our family for making his end time on earth so much easier.
We want to thank Pastor Wilde from our church, Christ Community Church in Weston. Pastor Wilde was always there for Jim and Vicky.
A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024 beginning with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 at Christ Community Church, 8100 Alderson Street, Weston.
Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family at this time. Online condolences can be made at MWCS.WS.
