Teresa Darlene Casper Peeler passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 62 after a courageous 2-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born on November 3, 1961, on Fort Belvoir Army Base in VA to the late Lloyd and Carol Casper.

Teresa graduated in 1980 from East Rowan High School. She went on to graduate from RCCC in 1982 with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. From 1982-1984 she worked at Rose’s Department Store. She then started working at Food Lion LLC in the Accounts Payable Department. Overtime she worked in a few other departments including Account Receivable, Payroll, and finally the ADUSA Services.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents Marvin and Loree Menius and BM and Pearl Casper.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Charles Peeler Jr. (married November 14, 2020); her daughters April Abernethy and Kristina Abernethy; her stepchildren William and Rachel Peeler and Alex and Amanda Peeler; her granddaughter Thalia Peeler; and her sister and brother-in-law Linda and Jeff Miller and their son Mattison Miller.

Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 205 St Paul Church Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Ryman.
