Howard Hugh Masters, 72, passed away on October 14, 2024.  He was born in Jamaica and resided in Britain from age seven until he was fourteen.  He then moved to Canada and later moved to Virginia where he lived for seventeen years.

Howard graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Kitchener/Waterloo, Canada, and pursued a career as a public health inspector.

Howard was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be remembered as being a hard worker, committed educator, faithful hockey dad, and devoted provider for his family.  

He is survived by his wife Joan Ann Masters; sons, Howie Masters and Eric Masters; stepdaughter Juanita Melissa Heber; his grandchildren, siblings, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, October 18, 2024, Whiting's Funeral Home.
