Seneca Rose Bermodes Obituary

Seneca Rose Bermodes  “Gitigaane Ikwe”, meaning “Garden Woman” of the Bear Clan, began her journey to the spirit world on Monday October 14, 2024 from the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.  She was born the daughter of Tanya (Day) and Jeffery Keezer on October 22, 1995, in Minneapolis Mn.

Seneca enjoyed visiting with her family and friends as often as she could.  She also enjoyed going to Pow Wow’s and dancing at them.  She was a good cook and enjoyed making her grandma’s recipes.

Those greeting Seneca to the spirit world are her parents, Jeffery and Tayna Keezer, children; Ahrwen and Nadine Bermodes, grandma; Gladys Fairbanks, Neice; Lafe Hilton, brother; Jeffery Keezer Jr. uncles; Lance Robinson and Pete Headbird.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memories are her husband; Odawa Bermodes, son; Tyler Randberg Jr. sisters; Hattie (Joshua) Keezer and Anevay (Nathan) Keezer.

The wake for Seneca will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday October 17, 2024, and continue until her 10:00 a.m. traditional service on Friday October 18, 2024 all to be held at the Prescott Community Center, Prescott MN. Naabekwa Liberty will be her spiritual advisor.  Helping to lay Seneca to rest will be Odie Bermodes, Nathon Erickson, Julian Koslowski, Gary Keezer, Darian Staples, Angelo Rodriguez.  Alternate pallbearers are Emilio Rodriguez, Tyler Randberg SR., Lordez Deegan, and Dale Goggleye.  Honorary pallbearers are Hattie Keezer, Anevay Keezer, Tyler Randberg Jr., and all those that knew and loved her.
