Cynthia Catoe, 59, of Lancaster, SC passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 14, 2024.
Cynthia was born Wednesday, March 10, 1965, in Lancaster County to the late Yancie and Louise Adams. Throughout her life, she has always been known for being a loving and caring person. Family was something of great importance to her. She was a devoted “second mother” and “second grandmother” to her sister's children and cherished every second spent together. Cynthia loved to craft and was a talented artist specializing in Native American beaded jewelry and dreamcatchers. She leaves behind a last impression on the hearts of so many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by two brothers, Ben and Wayne Adams.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of forty-three years, Jimmy Catoe; daughter, Brooklyn Taylor (Tanner); sisters, Becky Kirkley (Kenny) and Janice Adams; brothers, Carl, Howard (Rebecca), Bill (Diana) and Jack (Darnell) Adams; as well as a grandson, Wyatt Taylor.
Per Cynthia’s request, no services will be held. Instead, it asked that you remember her as the beautiful person that she was, and reflect on a fond memory that was shared.
