**Obituary for Mario Alberto Torres Martinez**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mario Alberto Torres Martinez, who left us on Monday, October 14th, 2024, just one day shy of his 42nd birthday. Mario was a beloved son, brother, and friend, cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Born on Friday, October 15th, 1982, Mario was a beacon of kindness and joy. His gentle spirit touched many lives, leaving behind memories filled with warmth and affection. He was known for his unwavering devotion to his family and his community, always generous with his time and compassion.

Mario is survived by his loving parents, Berta and Candido, his devoted brother Marcos, and his cherished sisters Adriana and Jessica. He leaves behind a legacy of love and togetherness that will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to bid farewell to Mario during a visitation at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Rosary service will be held at the same location on that day at 2:00 pm, offering a time for reflection and prayer.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Mario’s life will take place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland, TX, on Monday, October 21st, 2024, at 10:00 am. We invite all who knew him to join us in honoring and remembering a life well-lived.

Mario, with his gentle smile and kind heart, will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, enveloped in God’s eternal love. His final resting place will be Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
