On October 14, 2024, Ruth E. Gilland passed away; Ruth was employed in trust departments for banks for over 40 years. She loved traveling and holiday baking. She was a very active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church (Parkville) and longtime participant in the Busy Bees at her church. She is survived by her brother Roland Gilland and her nieces Anne Levine and Laura Nash.
A graveside service will be held at Gardens of Faith Cemetery on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10 am. Those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 8808 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234.
