Dr. William Howard Moseley of Lake City, FL passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 after an extended illness. He was 80 years old.
Dr. Moseley was born in Foley, Alabama and was a proud alumnus of the University of Alabama. He was a resident of Lake City, FL for 50 years, a practicing physician at the V.A. Hospital for much of that time. In his free time and in retirement, Dr. Moseley enjoyed playing golf, bridge, and cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide football team. Dr. Moseley was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Lake City and a faithful believer in Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marie Moseley, and his sister, Elizabeth Moseley Allen.
Dr. Moseley is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rebecca; three children: Dorothy M. Burnsed (Keith) of Crawfordville, FL, Howard L. Moseley (Mandi) of High Springs, FL, and William E. Moseley of Davenport, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Jordyn, Connor, Dillan, Dean, Dalton, and Davis.
A private graveside service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Lake City, FL.
