Daphne Lynn (Graves) Warner took her last breath on earth and her first breath in Heaven at 10:40pm Monday, October 14th, 2024. Daphne was born in Sweetwater, TX April 26, 1953. She grew up in an oilfield family and called many places home including Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana and North Dakota. But the majority of her formative years were spent growing up in the West Texas town of Fort Stockton, TX. Daphne was a devout Christian growing up in the Baptist Church. Most recently she was attending First Methodist Midland with her daughter Lora and son-in-law Joey. She was very active taking Sunday school classes and attending services most every Sunday. She was a major spiritual influence on many of her friends and family. She had many hobbies. Daphne was an avid reader, loved to crochet, sew, gardening, and arts and crafts. She was a fantastic cook and baker. All skills she passed down to her three children. She was always the female sponsor for her kids activities but she was especially active in Girl Scouts. Her home was always open for her kids friends with them all calling her mom. Daphne is preceded in death by her parents Royce and Louise Graves. She is survived by her sisters Janie Wood & husband Lewie of San Angelo, TX, Anna Hernandez & husband Luis of Alpine, TX, son David McCulloch & wife Cheri of Crawford, TX, daughter Lora Frailey & husband Joey of Midland, TX, daughter Rachele McCulloch of Crawfordsville, IN, grandchildren Glenna Capps, Dylon Frailey, Kalysta Frailey, & Maranda Capps,
& great grandson Waylon Frailey.
The viewing will be Friday, October 25, 2024
At 2:30pm at Miles Cemetery in Miles, TX, with Graveside Service following.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
Permian Basin Chapter. The QR code is a link to donate.
Daphne had a passion for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The team she is on, Lasting Joy, is in memory of her dad, Royce Graves. The family will walk this year in honor of Daphne as well.
