Rick Jones of West Liberty, KY, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 71 years & 7 months.  He was born Saturday, March 14, 1953 at Fort Wayne, IN, son of Harold Jones, Sr. & Eleanor Gross Jones.

Rick was united in marriage to Linda Lyon on May 20, 1978.  This union was blessed with two daughters, Amy & Amanda.  Rick was a retired Machine Operator.  He was a Christian and member of the Bethany Enterprise Baptist Church.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Jones, Sr. & Eleanor Gross Jones; one brother, Steve Jones; and three sisters, Cathy Gevedon, Donna Gamble, and Brenda McGuire.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Lyon Jones; two daughters, Amy Lynn Stacy (Cooter) and Amanda Brooke Ferguson (Daniel); three grandchildren, Braden Michael Stacy, Braxton Colt Stacy, and Adaleigh Danielle Ferguson; three brothers, Harold Jones, Jr. (Rhonda), Glenn Jones (Joyce), and David Jones (Libby); one sister, Connie Buckley; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Funeral service, 11 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home, with Bro. Rick Pelfrey & Bro. Paul Browning officiating.  Burial to follow in South Fork Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.  Visitation 6 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Potter Funeral Home.

Pallbearers:  Cooter Stacy, Daniel Ferguson, Braden Stacy, Chris Jones, Colby Jones, Jeff Penix, and Glenn Jones.
