Dawn M. Zaccario passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024 at the age of 54, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family until her very last breath.

Born in Philadelphia to the late James and Patricia (nee Crawford) Zaccario, Dawn lived for a short time in the Feltonville section of the city. Her family then moved to Fishtown, where she remained throughout her life. The family, including her 9 siblings, shared many great memories on Columbia Avenue and outings to places such as Penny Pack Park, where Dawn could always be found with her twin Donna or her baby sister Kathleen by her side. Dawn was always a sweet and caring child and her strong loyalty and love of family continued once Dawn had her own children. She never hesitated to let them know how much she loved them, through thick and thin, and she also loved to brag about their accomplishments to anyone she came in contact with. When they needed her the most, she came through to save their lives more than once, never ever turning her back on them.  Dawn was able to enjoy the most pure joy of becoming a Mom-Mom to her grandkids, and she was known as their "Bestie Mom-Mom". These kids were her world and in Dawn's eyes, they could do no wrong. In the last years of her life, Dawn was blessed to share her life with her life partner Marc Goodwin, who devoted his life to Dawn in every way. She was also fortunate to co-parent with her best friend and father of her children Mike Farlow. 

Dawn loved to dress nice and have a good time. She was also a very generous person who would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. She saved many people who crossed her path and even delivered a baby, when she was needed. Dawn stayed strong until the very end. Throughout all of her trials and tribulations, she remained a true warrior but never gave up hope, and never gave up, even when she was scared. Dawn was not a perfect person yet she had a perfect heart. Although she will be greatly missed, her memory will live on in those who loved her.

Dawn is the devoted mother of Dawn M. Farlow (late Nicholas Rowan), Michael C. Farlow III (JennaMarie Petaccio), and the late Deanna Dawn Farlow. Beloved life partner of Marc Goodwin. Loving Bestie Mom-Mom of Gianna, Kayden, Arabella, Abagale, Journey, and JJ. Dear sister of Patty, Karen, Billy, Donna, Kathy, and the late Anne, James, Susan, and John. Sadly missed by her dear friend and father of her children Michael Farlow Jr. and also her many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday October 18, 2024 beginning at 5pm in the Hubert M. McBride Funeral Home 2357 East Cumberland Street Philadelphia, PA 19125. Her funeral service will follow at 6:15pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Rock Ministries, an organization very near and dear to Dawn’s heart.
