Mr. John Tak Fai Yeung, age 84, passed away surrounded by loved ones on October 14, 2024 in New York City. He was born on April 17, 1940 in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, China.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; his five children, Angela (Dylan), William (Ira), Elizabeth (Robert), Lily (Ian), Elly; his three stepchildren, William (Marlena), Leslie (Brian), Lindsay (Jan); and 14 grandchildren.
He is preceded by his first wife, Paulina Shuk-Ying Lau.
John was a bright light, a man of immense humor and wisdom, who cherished every moment spent with loved ones.
In John's memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

We welcome all to join us in celebrating the life of a man who showed so much kindness and will always be deeply loved and greatly missed.
The celebration will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Boe Fook Funeral Services at 41 Canal Street in New York,NY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by memorial remarks from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.
The final resting place will be at Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
