Sylvia M. Billings, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on October 14, 2024. She was 93 years old.

Born on April 26, 1931 in Bridgewater, CT, daughter of the late Stephen and Sarah (Black) Krasky. Sylvia graduated from New Milford High School in 1949.

Sylvia was married to the love of her life Robert Billings. Together they created an amazing life together. He predeceased her in 2005.

Sylvia was a jack of all trades. Her greatest passion and joy were her family, she took pride in taking care of her two children and the home. Sylvia worked until she was 84, she owned her own hair salon; Crown and Glory in New Fairfield, CT, she was also a plant specialist in Danbury and worked at Allergy and Asthma. 

Mrs. Billings is survived by her loving children; Robert Billings (Tasha) and Tanya Billings, her granddaughter Amber (Stephen). She was predeceased by her siblings; Stephen and Mary.

A graveside service will be held on Friday October 18, 2024 at 10am at Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Avenue, Danbury. Danbury Memorial Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Please visit www.danburymemorial.com to send the family condolences.
