Russel passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 14, 2024. He was born in Tomah, WI on August 24, 1984. Russel was a very loving, loyal, compassionate and generous person. He was a simple man. He loved to be joking and making those around him laugh. He would give away the shirt off his back or the shoes off his feet. To which, he did! Russel enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was a dog dad to Sparky and Zowie.

Russel is survived by his parents, Tim & Verdie Kivimaki. Brothers; Eric (Courtney) Clausen, Tony Clausen, Dr. Alex (Colleen) Kivimaki, Steven (Sari) Kivimaki.

Uncles: Steven (Kim) Eades, Thomas Eades, Bernard (Dawn) Denasha, Daniel (Myriam) Kivimaki

Aunts: Linda (David) Lambert, Karen (Leo) Antone, Deborah (Douglas) Raabe, Mae Kivimaki (significant other William Chandler)

Russel is proceeded in death by grandparents Sterling and Alice Mae Eades, Tauno and Pat Kivimaki, cousins Skylar Eades and Sterling Jones Eades.

Torkelson’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with services. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 10am to Noon. Funeral services begin at Noon. Burial will be at Blue Wing Cemetery.
