Sherri Lynn Smith passed away surrounded by her family on October 14, 2024, at the age of 69 in Clayton, OH. Born on April 29, 1955, in Dayton, OH, Sherri spent her life sharing love and wisdom with anyone she met.

Sherri graduated from Meadowdale High School in 1973 before embarking on a fulfilling career at GM and Delphi, where she was a well-respected employee for many years. Her professional life was marked by dedication and a strong work ethic, which was mirrored in her commitment to her family and friends.

The heart of her home, Sherri was a cherished wife to her husband Stanley Smith. She was a loving mother to Nichole (Juan) Norvell, Suzanne (Allen) Chambers, and Stephen Smith. Sherri reveled in her role as a doting grandmother to Danielle (Dylan), Tiffany (Luke), Kirsten, Mariah, Braden, Braylen, John Jr, Ian, Lucas, Tyler, Kelsi, Isabella, and Connor, and great-grandmother to Sammy, Jack, Zariyah, Evelynn, and Calum, whose lives she enriched with love and guidance. Sherri is also survived by her caring siblings, Lori (Darren) Dulsky and Jeff Bush, her beloved dogs Cameron and Charlotte, and she is remembered fondly by her aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a circle of dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Marilyn Jo Bush and sister Kathy Bush.

A beacon of joy, Sherri's passions extended to watching her children and grandchildren blossom. She found great pleasure in Nascar races, camping and cherishing those moments with family and friends. Sherri's generous heart will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered by all. There will be a private Celebration of Life taking place at a later date at the families discretion.
